Who we are
Oxford Crown Technologies is a technology company that designs and builds custom AI systems for businesses. This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website and how we handle it.
What we collect
We collect only what you choose to send us. When you complete the enquiry form we receive your name, email address, and any company, phone, country, area of interest and message you provide.
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies on this website, and we do not build a profile of your browsing.
Why we hold it
We use your details for one purpose, which is to respond to your enquiry and, if you go on to work with us, to deliver and support that work. Our lawful basis is legitimate interest in responding to a business enquiry you initiated, and performance of a contract once one exists.
We do not add you to a marketing list without your explicit agreement, and we never sell or rent your data.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers to run this website and our correspondence, and they process data only on our instructions:
- Our website hosting provider, to serve these pages
- Our email provider, to deliver and store correspondence
Where a client engagement requires data to remain inside a particular country, we build and host accordingly, and that arrangement is set out in the contract for that engagement rather than governed by this page.
Client data during a project
When we build systems for a client we may process data belonging to that client and to their customers. In that relationship we act as a processor, not a controller, and our obligations are set out in a separate data processing agreement signed before any access is granted.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within twelve months. Records relating to a client engagement are kept for as long as we are required to keep them for legal, tax and professional purposes, and then deleted.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to our processing of it. Write to hello@oxfordcrown.co.uk and we will respond within one month.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal data we will update this page and change the date at the top.
